Last week I was kindly invited to attend the Merton Dementia Action Alliance by Cheryl Carter of  Every Home Matters. Dementia Action Alliance Groups meet throughout England and seek to bring together organisations and services in their local communities to increase awareness of the difficulties experienced by individuals living with dementia and their families. The Alliances fulfil many functions but the primary objective is to make local communities more dementia friendly.

I found the meeting I attended at Kew House in Wimbledon to be informative, friendly and attended by individuals who share my passion for the welfare of older people. A very positive experience and a privilege to be part of. Thank you to everyone involved.
